How is your yarn so affordable?
It’s crazy affordable, isn’t it? We run a tight ship — no big warehouses, no middlemen, and no over pricing just because we’re independent. We love business as much as we love yarn, and this is the business model we want to run.
There has to be a catch, right? Lower quality?
Nope. No catch. No corners cut. We use the same high-quality yarn bases and professional-grade dyes you’d find from other indie dyers — we just don’t charge you an arm and a leg for it. We like nice things too, we just like them at better prices.
How many skeins are dyed in a batch?
It depends on the colorway, but we usually aim for 10 skeins per batch. We dye small so we can keep things fresh and creative while always pushing ourselves to further our dyeing skills. Plus, it keeps things exciting — when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Who dyes the yarn? And where is the yarn from?
Every skein is hand-dyed by me! Isabel — a wife and mother of 2 tiny humans— based in Huntsville, Alabama. We source our yarn bases & dyes from reputable suppliers like Wool2Dye4. We’re picky about what we use, because we know you are too. Click here for all the details.
