Batch 59 Preview - August 16th Drop
For batch 59, we have 1,700 skeins available in 5 colorways! Each colorway has 100 Sock, 200 DK & 50 Bulky. Except for Olive The Above! That has 150 DK instead of 200.
We were a little bit behind on updating our previews this week, so if you've been anxiously waiting, wait no more! Also we appreciate your patience. Nick has been dyeing yarn this week, and likely will be for a bit longer, so he's been behind on his other work.

Smokehouse
Rich, rustic, and full of depth, Smokehouse reminds us of the West. Slow-burning fires, weathered wood, and the beautiful patterns of a bull. Layers of warm brown, charred black, and soft cream create a beautifully variegated palette that feels both grounded and timeless.
Ice Bear
Meet Ice Bear. Proof that you can be an apex predator and an absolute mood. This one's got cream fur energy with a serious teal situation going on underneath. Not to mention a little charcoal splashing around like it just did a cannonball into the Arctic Ocean.
Majestic. Serene. Very cold plunge... if the cold plunge also had claws.
Olive The Above
We've been chasing the perfect olive green for awhile now, and this is it. Deep forest and true olive tossed in with mossy mid-tones. It was dyed as single color, but it struck as a beautiful orchestra of greens on a canvas. We love this one above and beyond.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Royal blue, light aqua, and bubblegum pink collide in a speckled, no-rules colorway. Bold and unbothered. This colorway started as a pink tonal and then got overdyed with four bold stripes of dark blue.
Chapter 1
It's the same soft base as Cream & Sugar, but this time overdyed with a deeper tan for a richer, more variegated finish. The result is warm and worn-in, like the foxed pages of a well-loved book. Creamy whites deepening into toasty, golden tan. Soft, muted, and rich with quiet depth: the perfect first page of your next project.

Every Sunday at 4pm CST we release a limited batch of freshly dyed skeins. Thousands of makers come to watch the drop and pick up any yarn they want for their stash.
Once they're gone, they're gone until the next drop. Every week's colors are different, and not all colorways return, so be sure to lock in when you see something you like. For tips on how to shop the drop, click here.
At the moment we only ship in the USA. We plan on expanding internationally in the future, though we do not have a specific timeline for that yet.
Great news! Our hand dyed merino wool is absolutely wonderful for crochet! Merino is one of the most versatile fibers out there, and it works beautifully with a hook just as much as it does with needles.
Its natural softness and slight elasticity make it a dream to work with stitch by stitch, and the drape you get from crocheted merino is truly something special. whether you're making a cozy blanket, a delicate shawl, or anything else, you can rest assured that this yarn will be wonderful to work with!
That depends! Many of our colorways are on rotation, meaning they are released 2-3 times per year. Some recipes have been retired due to dye inconsistencies, recipe complications, or if they weren't popular. Retired colorways will not come back, but might be reworked in the future under a different name.
It depends on the weight! Here's a quick breakdown:
- Fingering Weight — 80% Merino Wool, 20% Nylon
- DK & Bulky — 100% Merino Wool
The nylon in our fingering weight isn't an accident — it adds durability and stitch definition, making it especially great for projects that see a lot of wear, like socks!
