Quick Update

Last week we bought our 4th oven! It scheduled to arrive this week, which marks a new milestone for Sandhill Yarns. With the 4th oven coming in, we will now have the capacity to dye 2,000 skeins / week. We're also looking at changing our pans to 2.5" depth, which could also increase our potential. But that's still being tested.

We aren't quite ready to jump up to 2,000 skeins yet, because we have a lot of renovations planned for our future media team space, but progress is being made! If you want to read more about our growth plan, check out our public roadmap where we have documented our growth from the beginning!

Overview

For batch 52, we have another 1,500 skeins available in 5 colorways! Each colorway has 100 Sock, 150 DK & 50 Bulky. We've noticed that Bulky weight is less popular right now, probably due to the summer heat, so we've shifted our numbers in favor of more sock weight! Let us know if you like this change.

If you've been with us for awhile, you'll recognize Distant Mountains, Swamp Creature and Sakura as return colorways. New to our growing recipe collection are:

• Hold Your Horses - A Why Friend Shaped tonal and gets a one-sided Puppy Paws overdye for that rich, reddish-brown warmth. It's moody, it's earthy and it's got that depth.
• Cyber Punk - The future is purple, and honestly? We're fine with that. Cyber Punk crashes neon teal and soft purple into stormy charcoal and icy white. A cityscape at midnight seen through rain-soaked glass.
