Private pre-order for Gilded Loop Crochet subscribers
Welcome to the first ever collaboration between Sandhill Yarns and Gilded Loop Crochet! If you don't know already, on July 13th, Matt released a video where he and his subscribers got to pick the inspiration for a custom colorway. The inspiration photo that was chosen was a beautiful sunset, that has now been permanently added to our recipe book as Gilded Sunset. If you didn't watch that video, you can check it out by clicking here.
Matt also picked 4 coordinating colorways from our existing catalog. They pair amazingly well, and we are so excited for you all to see them.
This preorder link will be live on July 29th at 4:00 PM CST. For now, we have the previews of each colorway below so you can plan accordingly.

Gilded Sunset
Some sunsets are so good they deserve their own colorway. We took one look at that sky burning pink and gold over the water and knew what to do.
We started with a light pink tonal, to make sure all of the yarn was thoroughly drenched in pink. From there we added a deep sky blue and a warm sunset orange, being extra careful to keep the two separate for that beautiful contrast (and to prevent it from making green).
A true collab piece, born from a community with great eyes and better taste.
That's So Fetch
This is a bold, unapologetically pink colorway that practically glows with attitude. Swirls of hot magenta, soft bubblegum, and punchy fuchsia melt together in a marbled dance, creating a skein that’s equal parts playful and iconic. Perfect for projects that demand attention, because on Wednesdays, we wear pink.
This colorway was named by our wonderful followers on Instagram! A huge thanks to everyone for the amazing ideas on this one.
King of the Ocean
King of the Ocean is a deep, dynamic yarn with rich waves of blues, aquas and jet black. These colors flow together like an orca cutting through open water. We dyed this yarn without an original inspiration picture, just wanting to combine these two colors. The result is as strong as the king of the ocean.
Very Berry Blue
This is a rich, jewel-toned yarn that reminds us of gemstones and ripe blueberries. As you can tell from the pictures, it is very berry blue. With vibrant depth and strong tonal shifts, it knits up beautifully into bold, eye-catching stitches. This blue is one of the components of our "El Jeffe" colorway, just dyed as a single color. This colorway was dyed via cold-processing, which leaves a much more consistent saturation compared to our old Dirty Tonal method.
Half a' Merlot
Half a' Merlot is a one sided version of our coveted Vintage Merlot. A smooth, elegantly rich burgundy paired with the natural white of the merino wool. This dye naturally creates shifts in saturation throughout the skein, giving depth and dimension to your projects.
